Under the kind undrtaking of Vidya Vikas Education Society Hinganghat. In 1989 Vidya Viks College has been started in Samudrapur dist Wardha under the affiliation of RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur and subject sociology has been started. In the beginning under this Sociology Subject, debate workshop and competition a on the question of Society & its problems had been taken. One group of students has been made to solve crime in society and also problems responsible for created of it. Question of widow is a burning problem today. Our Sociology dept. tried its base to solve the problems of widow. For knowing and understanding correct problems in Society i.e. Darubandi & Guthka Bandi. Problem of dowry system, Hagandari mukta, MREGS for upliftment of backward people and provide employment to them, dept. arranged various programmes to create awareness among students about its harmful effect and remedies on it. In our field work we visited on “Pardhi Beda’ a tribal species specially backward and tried to know their problems. For quarrel free society we got Valuable support and guidance of Prof. M.N.Dhakre Head of Sociology department. We did our best to satisfy querries of our student about society and Sociology tried to enhance their knowledge about Society
